Park Etiquette
Checking in
Check in between 12pm (noon) and 5pm unless otherwise arranged with management. Check out by 10am on the day of departure. Camp sites are numbered. Please set up on allocated site only and observe all signs in the area. Do not set up on any site without making a booking.
Refunds
Camping fees are not refundable for cancellations or changes with less than seven days’ notice, or for inclement weather. Where at least seven days’ notice is given:

refund will be provided less an administration fee of $25 or
-
booking for an alternate date can be made subject to availability. A once only change can be made.
Camp site information

All drive-on sites need to collect their grey water and dispose of it in the dump points.

If any part of vehicle is used for camping, a designated site must be used.

Dump points for grey and black waste water are located at Lumley Hill Campground near the amenities block. There is no dump point for portaloo, motor home or caravan toilets at Somerset Park Campground or Captain Logan Campground.

Concrete slab on powered sites are approx. 6m long x 2.5m wide (for the annex) and a little wider and longer where the vans park. Approx. 10m between these sites
Rules and guidelines
All Queensland road rules apply within the campground, including:

no drink driving
-
no riding in the back of utes and trailers
-
no unregistered vehicles.
To help you enjoy your stay, we ask that you abide by the Campground Rules.
Campground Rules

Be aware that any person who engages in any recreational activity on or near the campground does so at their own risk.

Management accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen property. Please ensure that cars and doors are locked and valuables secured.

Limit your vehicle speed to 10kph and observe all signage.

It is very important to respect your neighbours right to have peace and quiet.

Generators not permitted.

For comfort of all Guests NO amplified or loud music permitted.
-
No noise after 10pm.

Parents/Guardians are totally responsible for their children at all times and are expected to supervise their behaviour and ensure they abide by the Campground Rules.

Pets are not permitted. Please make arrangements for your pets prior to arrival.

Underage drinking and antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.

Patrons who disturb others will be asked to leave and future bookings may not be honoured.

Only cars booked and paid into a site are allowed on site. Visitor cars must be parked outside. Visitors are asked to leave by 6pm.

No vehicles to be parked on vacant sites or outside camping areas.

Every endeavour is made to satisfy guests requests for a particular site, however management reserves the right to move the booking if necessary.

Campfires must be contained in an enclosed drum, brazier or similar (which you must provide) and must only be placed at designated fire pit locations. Under no circumstances are fires permitted on the ground or outside designated locations.

Fire wood must be brought in with you, or you can purchase from the reception office. Do not cut down trees or remove branches for personal use.
